Meet the 12 entrepreneurs selected for the incubation programme

Création Africa is a ground-breaking R24 million initiative launched by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs in 2023 to foster and support entrepreneurship in the cultural and creative industries of South Africa, Lesotho, and Malawi.

It is led by the Embassy of France and the French Institute of South Africa (IFAS). 40 creative and cultural enterprises were selected from more than 700 applicants for a mentorship programme. The below 12 initiatives have been chosen to participate in five-week-long incubation and immersion programmes facilitated by Création Africa partners UVU Africa and Bpifrance.

Meet the 40 entrepreneurs selected for the mentorship programme

Création Africa is a ground-breaking R24 million initiative launched by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs in 2023 to foster and support entrepreneurship in the cultural and creative industries of South Africa, Lesotho, and Malawi.

It is led by the Embassy of France and the French Institute of South Africa (IFAS) who are delighted to introduce the 40 creative and cultural enterprises selected from more than 700 applicants. The below 40 initiatives have been chosen to participate in a month-long mentoring programme with UVU Africa.

Ultimately, a dozen of the 40 ventures will be selected to advance to the incubation and immersion programmes facilitated by Création Africa partners UVU Africa and Bpifrance.
